One of the lesser known travel destinations in the north east, Tripura hosts palaces, ancient rock murals and indigenous tribes that still maintain an undiluted way of life.

In our tour, we provide snippets of the different aspects of life here from urban Agartala to villages of the tribes, and then deep into the forest to see the Unakoti Caves filled with fine sculpted rocks. Legend says that Lord Shiva was travelling through the forest with his entourage and decided to stop there for the night. He requested them to get up early the next day to continue the journey. When he woke up and found everyone else sleeping, in anger he cursed them stating that since they were so fond of this place they could stay there forever and cast them in stone.
